What is MPDSS?
The Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (MPDSS) enables eligible patients in the metropolitan region who are on a public dental waiting list and have been contacted by DHS to receive subsidised non-emergency dental care from participating private dental practitioners.
You may be eligible for dental care under the MPDSS if you have a valid health care or pensioner concession card (MPDSS). It is now time to receive the necessary dental care.
What You Need To Know:
By accessing the Dental Health Services (DHS) website, you can find your local public dental facility to verify your eligibility and register for subsidised dental care.
DHS will then send you a letter in metropolitan areas suggesting an appointment at a local public dental facility or a voucher for a participating private dental office.
